Coordination Meeting for the Preparation of Budget for Accreditation of PTKL in 2024

Referring to Permendikbudristek Number 53 of 2023 concerning Quality Assurance for Higher Education, the assessment criteria for accreditation must include four aspects: quality culture, relevance covering output-process-input, accountability, and differentiation of missions.
BAN-PT's financial budget is allocated for conducting the accreditation process for higher education institutions, especially study programs under the auspices of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology. Meanwhile, study programs under other ministries are funded by their respective ministries
As of August 16, 2024, for study programs and higher education institutions that have not applied for accreditation, their founding permits will be revoked. Furthermore, in carrying out the accreditation process, including mandatory field assessments, must be conducted in person to obtain a more current overview and facts.
To ensure that the accreditation process is carried out objectively and systematically, BAN-PT will regularly refresh assessors and conduct socialization regarding the latest regulations.

Present at this coordination meeting were members of the BAN-PT Executive Board, the Director General, and directors related to the Ministry of Religious Affairs, officials from the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries, officials from the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, officials from the State Administration Institute, officials from the Ministry of Defense, officials from the Ministry of Industry, and officials from the Ministry of Home Affairs [DR].
