Coordination Meeting for the Improvement of APT 3.0 and Distance Learning Instruments
Refinement of APT 3.0 instruments and PJJ instruments is necessary to make them more adaptive to changes in government regulations and societal needs. In this regard, the National Accreditation Agency for Higher Education (BAN-PT) held a coordination meeting on February 13 – 14, 2023, at Hotel Grand Mercure Setiabudi, Bandung. The purpose of the meeting was to align initial perceptions and gather various inputs, including those from BAN-PT partners, particularly LLDIKTI Region II.
The coordination meeting was attended by 12 participants, including the Executive Board of BAN-PT, BAN-PT expert team, and speakers from LLDIKTI Region IV. The meeting began with guidance from the Director of the Executive Board, Prof. Ari Purbayanto, who emphasized the need to compile a List of Problem Identifications and justifications in the refinement of APT 3.0 and PJJ instruments by gathering inputs from both BAN-PT partners and representations from higher education institutions.
During the meeting, the Chairman of LLDIKTI Region IV, Dr. Samsuri, suggested that what is captured in the new APT instrument should reflect best practices in the implementation of the Internal Quality Assurance System. Additionally, it was recommended to incorporate accreditation instruments. hyperlink With the data reporting portal digital higher education.

Subsequently, a feasibility test will be conducted for the new APT instrument (IAPT 4.0), with the expectation that it can be introduced to various universities in Indonesia by July 2023. BAN-PT aims to have Instrument APT 4.0 ready for use as a higher education accreditation instrument in 2024.
